THe last updates seem to not work with JKA so to install the mod we will have to donwload an older version. Other quick shoots I have made using this preset(a bit too dark imo) Here is a little example of a quick preset I have made : It give's you the oportunity to tweak and adjust a bunch of effects through a quite simple interface :īut don't abuse of this addon or your game might slow down drasticaly (depending on your configuration).

define RFXPseudoDepth 0 //0:1 //-To use or configure depth shader. This little addon is called Reshade : (I've tried sweet FX without success). SweetFX Settings ARK Survival Evolved Ark UnReal - Free download as Text File. Been slammed at work so I havent had time to look into getting the framework version up and running, I would would just use the old ReShade + SweetFX 2.0 if. in order to had those effects we will use an injector that will reprocess the image after the game engine. I'm not talking about better textures but of post processing filters such as sharpen effect, ambient light improvement. You can for instance increase Vibrance for a more fantasy-like look, or use Desaturate or Sepia to give the game a more eerie feeling. It is not a secret that JKA's graphics, despite their quality, are a bit old but there is a solution to had a peace of modern effects to it. More advanced settings include color curves and tone mapping, which can be used to change the mood of the game. Sharpening can be particularly useful in games with “muddy” textures like the Dishonored or Bioshock series. Other interesting options are HDR which tries to mimic real HDR, and LUMASHARPEN which can be used to sharpen the detail of characters and items. You can fiddle with the settings to fix the colour.

You can turn on FXAA or SMAA Anti-aliasing by typing a boolean value (1 for “on”, 0 for “off”), but make sure to turn Anti-aliasing off in the game visual settings, as SweetFX will replace it. Id recommend using reShade, the Mediator app it comes with lets you modify on the fly whilst in game. Opening the SweetFX_Settings.txt file will reveal a host of options. You can personalize your games further by creating your own SweetFX profiles, or editing existing ones. After installing the SweetFX preset, and using the in-built SMAA, performance improved to 58 fps average, along with a boost in visual quality. With the game settings set to Ultra and TXAA turned on, we averaged 52.3 fps. The preset used was “| ULTRA TXAA | NO BLUR” by Sp00ky. By disabling the Anti-aliasing processing in-game and using SweetFX’s SMAA instead, in conjunction with a sharpening filter, we can achieve not only better graphics but also improved performance. Some games that are poorly optimized like Dishonored 2 can greatly benefit from certain SweetFX profiles.
